Marcia Martin joins the National Screen Institute Board of Directors


Marcia Martin is the newest member of Canada’s entertainment industry to join the National Screen Institute Board of Directors.

Marcia is a senior TV executive with over 25 years experience in the creative sector.

A former VP with CHUM Television and Sr. VP with CTV, she has led original conception and execution of all aspects of television production, as well as the development and celebrated launch of numerous national television services across Canada, such as Space, Star! and Fashion Television.

A past board member of the Canadian Association of Broadcasters (CAB), the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television (ACCT) and Women in Film & Television – Toronto (WIFT-T), Marcia is currently an advisor for the Brian Linehan Charitable Foundation.

Marcia joins 17 other board members, all industry leaders whose skills and experience reflect the breadth and depth of Canada’s screen-based industries.

Said Marcia of her involvement with NSI:
