The GreenHeroes website includes webisodes, blog posts, contests and other information. The six-part TV series tells remarkable stories of people who acted on their ideas and heroically ‘ventured forth’ to protect the planet. It airs Tuesdays at 7 p.m. ET and repeats Saturdays at 4 p.m. ET on TVO.
Some of the GreenHeroes include singer Sarah Harmer, Gord Downie from The Tragically Hip, renowned chimpanzee researcher and conservationist Jane Goodall, green giant David Suzuki, Nobel Peace Prize winner Wangari Maathai and NHL star Andrew Ference.
