Liz Janzen, the National Screen Institute’s director of programming, will be leaving the organisation to pursue her writing career. Her last day with NSI will be June 30, 2011.
Said Janzen, “I cherish my time at NSI. I will miss working on a daily basis with such great colleagues and friends but at the same time I’m excited about the prospect of moving forward with my own projects.”
“Liz has played a big part in the success of the programming offered by NSI and I sincerely hope we’ll find ways to collaborate with her in the future,” said John Gill, CEO of NSI. “In the meantime, all of us at NSI wish her well and look forward to seeing Liz’s coming successes as a screenwriter.”
Janzen has been with the NSI since August 2004. A search for her replacement will begin shortly.
