When an ex-girlfriend returns to capture one last memory, Jessica must face her lingering emotions amidst new hopes and old truths.
Writer/director/producer: Nathan Estabrooks

Nathan Estabrooks says:
“I’ve always been fascinated with temporality and memory (Heidegger’s Being and Time), and after watching Gaspar Noé’s Enter the Void I became obsessed with the idea of using multiple POVs to play with how story and individualism construct our perceptions.
Thanks to two very patient actresses, a tiny HD cam and a lot of ones and zeros, I was able lose myself cutting and make the exact movie I wanted.
My hope is UR X Girlfriend is only the first installment of an ongoing project exploring the intersubjectivity of shared memory and individual solipsism.
In the last few months, the Sara and Jessica story has been remixed to play with technology and temporality by using different cuts of POV to assemble and reveal different memories.
Those remixes will soon be released in installments with a final ‘true’ version (through the cellphone’s eyes) released at the end as the digital memorandum of their last fleeting kiss.”
