NSI grads wrap production on Everyone’s Famous

Walter Forsyth (NSI Totally Television) and Angus Swantee (NSI Drama Prize) just wrapped production on their comedy web series Everyone’s Famous, shot throughout Halifax. CBC will broadcast the 45-minute show as a TV special; audiences can also see it as a seven-part series on the internet in February.

Everyone’s Famous follows 30-year-old Donald who always wanted to be a ‘somebody’ but settled for being a decent guy with a decent girlfriend, working at a decent call centre. Donald becomes ‘internet famous’ after an embarrassing video of him goes viral, providing an unexpected new lease on fame. He quits his job and tries desperately to become a viral video maker, pushing his love life, his friends, and his sanity to their very limits.
