Sonya Ballantyne wins RBC Emerging Filmmakers Competition at Gimli Film Festival

Congratulations to Sonya Ballantyne (current NSI New Voices student) who just won the RBC Emerging Filmmakers Competition at Gimli Film Festival yesterday for her film Crash Site.

Sonya receives $10,000 to make her film courtesy of RBC, a $1,000 gift certificate courtesy of William F. White, a premiere screening of her film at next year’s Gimli Film Festival and a mentorship with NSI program manager Elise Swerhone.
