About Hervé Demers
Hervé Demers is a film director living in Montreal
His first shorts were selected by over 100 international festivals an received honours such as the Tamashii (Soul) Award at the CON-CAN Movie Festival in Japan and the award for best emerging filmmaker at the 61st Yorkton Film Festival in Canada.
Since 2012, he has been a member and administrator of Les Films de l’Autre, a production company owned by 28 directors who also act as producers of their own films.
He is currently working on his first photo exhibition Les premiers soleils (Early Suns) and on pre-production for his next narrative short Le nom que tu portes (The name you carry).
