NSI Online Short Film Fest: a short holiday break

The NSI Online Short Film Festival is taking a break from programming over the holidays. We’ll be back with new films in mid-January, 2016.

We had a massive number of submissions this past call and are busy making our way through them all. If you submitted a film, sit tight; we’ll be in touch.

If you’re in need of a short film fix, please enjoy some of the finest films to have graced our screens this year: our festival award winners which were chosen by independent jury.

A girl flies back to Taiwan to visit her mother and accidentally discovers the broken relationship between her parents.

Foam Drive Renegades

A gang of petty criminals enlists the last-minute help of an irrational acquaintance to pull off a robbery. Oh yeah, he’s a puppet.

It is with deep sadness that the Foam Drive Renegades team announces the tragic passing of Matt Chisholm, co-writer and star of the film.

Matt was a positive inspiration to all who knew him and a creative force who can never be replaced.
