A man tries to convince a woman that they have a future together.
Writer/director/producer: O. Corbin Saleken
The Vehicle is my attempt to do something in the vein of Richard Linklater’s Before trilogy. A movie like this only works if you have great performances, and I was incredibly fortunate that Garry Chalk and Gillian Barber – two highly talented veteran actors – agreed to participate.
The bulk of the film is a real-time conversation between these two people. Though simple in execution, this central exchange is emotional and thought-provoking.
A moment can change your whole life, if you’re willing to let it.
