John Dunning Discovery Award

Werewolf (nominated by NSI for the Telefilm Canada Micro-Budget Production Program in 2015) also scored nominations for its lead actors’ performances (Bhreagh MacNeil and Andrew Gillis) and for cinematography.

What Would Sal Do? picked up nominations for its actors (Ryan McDonald and Jennifer Dale).

The Canadian Screen Awards will be hosted by Howie Mandel and presented on March 12, 2017.
