Abracadavers and Ice Blue win at Calgary’s Stinger Awards

Films from NSI grads won at last week’s Stinger Awards hosted by the Calgary Society of Independent Filmmakers.

TELUS STORYHIVE series Abracadavers (pictured), from series lead Morgan Ermter, won for best web series.

Ice Blue, from director Sandi Somers and producer Scott Lepp (both NSI Features First), took home the award for best long form narrative.

The Stinger Awards recognize artists and technicians working in film and digital media in Southern Alberta.
