Fast Horse by Alex Lazarowich, Sundance award winning film

A Special Jury Award for directing was presented last night at the Sundance Film Festival to Alex Lazarowich (NSI IndigiDocs) for her work on the short Fast Horse.

In the film, Blackfoot bareback horse-racing returns in the astonishingly dangerous Indian Relay. Siksika horseman Allison Red Crow struggles with second-hand horses and a new jockey on his way to challenge the best riders in the Blackfoot Confederacy.
