Indigenous150+ – a new podcast series that centres on Indigenous voices – is now available on all major podcast platforms.

The Indigenous150+ Youth Ambassador program brought together 21 young adults from across the country, both Indigenous and non-Indigenous, to learn how to moderate cross cultural conversations and basic podcasting skills.

Knowledge keepers, community leaders, artists and influencers shared their stories with Indigenous150+ participants who each host their own episodes. The first eight episodes premiered in June.

There are 40 episodes in total celebrating a diversity of stories and they’ll be rolling out twice a week at 6 p.m. (EST) on Tuesdays and Fridays throughout October.

The initiative is led by Good Influence Films in partnership with Canada World Youth, Inspirit Foundation and RBC Foundation in support of RBC Future Launch. Sean Vanderklis, of One Dish One Mic led the training and is an executive producer on the series.

The podcast creators need your help to spread the word and amplify Indigenous stories and voices.
