Alumni shortlisted for Whistler Film Festival Talent Programs

Whistler Film Festival

Whistler Film Festival (WFF) announced the creators shortlisted for this year’s WFF Screenwriters Lab and Producers Lab.

The Screenwriters Lab amplifies diverse Canadian screenwriters through the development of their original scripted feature projects. Six of the 12 shortlisted writers will be chosen to participate in this intensive multi-phased script development program.

NSI Business for Producers alumni Andrea Feltrin and Carla Robinson have both been shortlisted: Andrea for her script Chum and Carla for her script Bully.

Participants in the Produces Lab will work intensively with key industry advisors and mentors to expand their creative skills and receive feedback tailored to their project. Six of the 10 shortlisted writer/producer pairings will be selected to participate.

Alexandra Caulfield (NSI Totally Television) and Lauren MacKinlay (NSI Features First) have both been shortlisted: Alexandra for their film Betwixt and Lauren for her film Rearranging.

The selected participants will be announced at the end of May.
