Alumni chosen for ISO-Netflix Indigenous Production Apprenticeship and Cultural Mentorship programs

The Indigenous Screen Office (ISO) and Netflix have announced the selected filmmakers for their Indigenous Production Apprenticeship and Cultural Mentorship programs.

Through this partnership, ISO and Netflix have supported a total of 49 projects with just under $1 million since 2019. This year, ISO and Netflix will put forth $390K of funding overall with $294K for the apprenticeship program and $96K for the cultural mentorship program.

The Indigenous Production Apprenticeship offers new opportunities for hands-on training and career progression for Indigenous creatives who want to take their career to the next level. Congratulations to the following alumni who will receive this training and support:

The Cultural Mentorship program provides opportunities for Indigenous creators to engage in cultural mentorship, learning and protocols throughout all phases of project development. Congratulations to Michael Auger (NSI IndigiDocs) who has been selected to receive this mentorship.
