The Canadian Media Producers Association (CMPA) is now accepting applications for their inaugural International Co-Production Accelerator Program (ICAP).
The program features renowned international consultant and National Screen Institute co-founder Jan Miller and other expert producers like Daniel Bekerman (NSI Features First), Molly Asher, Ilann Girard, Kathleen McInnis and Tania Sarra.
ICAP will facilitate international cooperation between Canadian and international companies for the creation of feature films and drama series. This initiative is meant to create project partnerships and long-lasting business relationships between Canadian and international production companies.
The program has two separate streams: the feature film stream and the drama series stream. Each stream will host virtual masterclasses with experts in the international production arena, content development, case studies, pitching and networking opportunities with international producers.
The program emphasizes personalized, tailored support for each participant. All masterclasses, panels and presentations will be designed to advance projects and provide resources to all participants.
Eight Canadian, mid-level producers will be selected for each stream.
Application deadline in August 6. Apply now!
