Congratulations to Joy Haskell (TELUS STORYHIVE) and Gloria Kim (NSI Diverse TV Director) who were selected for the second cohort of the features stream for the CFC/Netflix Project Development Accelerator.

The CFC/Netflix Project Development Accelerator is a three-month initiative tailored to the specific creative and business needs of the selected participants and their feature projects.

Joy’s project, Cookies or Crack, follows 17-year-old Angie who must choose between protecting her mother’s secrets or saving herself and younger brother David.

Gloria Kim’s The Banquet tells the story of recently divorced Sunny Park as she retreats to the country with her daughter and mother to learn traditional Korean recipes and, in the process, rediscovers the importance of food, family and love.

The program will begin this month and run until September.
