Director’s statement
Lesley Marshall says:
“Charged with taking on my first music video, I pulled together a great team of colleagues and friends.
We worked on a tight timeline and I worked from a feminist filmmaking perspective to tackle a story that has been present throughout our group of friends and artists. Great community support came out of this short from local bakeries (Auntie Loo’s Treats), coffee houses (Bridgehead), and theatre/artist-run co-ops (Orleans Young Players and SAW Video). [We] could not have done it without their and other’s support (thank you Sheri Borts, Mariel Saunders, Ariel Smith and Amiee Britton for the location/extra costumes!)”
