BIPOC TV & Film

Community Partner of Access+

Founded in 2012 as a grassroots movement and community-building initiative, BIPOC TV & Film has evolved into a national not-for-profit organization building power and opportunities for Black, Indigenous and Racialized people in Canada. We are dedicated to breaking down the barriers and building an inclusive and equitable industry by investments in career development training, mentorship, support and community engagement initiatives.

For almost 15 years, BIPOC TV & Film has provided resources and pathways to opportunities in film, television, and digital media. We work tirelessly to empower underrepresented creators with the tools, resources, and networks they need to thrive—whether through talent development, business support, or policy advocacy.

Our work is designed to create real impact by connecting emerging and established BIPOC creators in front and behind the camera to funding, training, and career opportunities, ensuring that the next generation of storytellers is diverse, empowered, and celebrated.
