Quick stats about the movie
Tension fills the air as a man and young boy drive out to the country to say goodbye to the boy’s first pet. When they reach their destination things don’t go as planned.
Writer/director/producer: Theodore Bezaire
Producer: Gerry Lattmann
Theodore Bezaire says:
“Losing a pet for the first time is a fairly universal coming-of-age experience. My first pet, Newton, a hamster, died during the summer between grades five and six. I was devastated but dealing with the loss was an essential part of growing up. Tommy is a look back at the common, yet delicate, moment in youth when we are faced with heartbreak and loss.”
