Congratulations to Trey Anthony (NSI Totally Television) who has become the new development producer for Bell Media Studios.
Trey’s role focuses on the development of unscripted content through Bell’s partnership with Motion Content Group – with the potential to become a showrunner on any formats that are commissioned.
Trey’s previous work as the creator and writer of the hit TV series ‘Da Kink in My Hair (developed through NSI Totally Television) made her the first Black Canadian woman to create and produce a prime-time series for a major Canadian network.
In her new role, Trey hopes to support racialized members of the industry who face entry barriers and encourage them throughout the creative process.
Trey began her new role in mid-December 2020.
