Ode To My Father, produced by Orlando Braun (NSI Business for Producers) of Prairie Boy Productions, will air nationally on CBC on June 19.

The documentary is part of CBC’s Absolutely Canadian series showcasing documentaries that tell unique stories from communities around Canada.

Ode To My Father follows Jorge Requena Ramos after he loses his father to suicide. He tries to make peace with his memory of his father and mental illness as he travels between Winnipeg and Mexico City.
