Documentary 6 Tons of Steel: Building Bloody Saturday from Orlando Braun’s (NSI Business For Producers) company Prairie Boy Productions airs on CBC Manitoba Saturday, September 21.

In the doc, ironworkers construct a steel monument of a life-size replica of the streetcar tipped and torched at the height of the Winnipeg General Strike in 1919. 6 Tons of Steel tracks the streetcar’s creation, while exploring stories of labourers then and now and the origins of one of the largest workers’ strikes ever.
