Ice Blue, an award-winning feature film from writer Jason Long, director Sandi Somers and producer Scott Lepp (all NSI Features First) is available today on VOD platforms across North America.
The psychological thriller follows 16-year-old Arielle who’s trying to live a quiet life in the countryside. Although she loves her devoted father John and their life together on an isolated farm, she can’t help but wonder what happened to her mother Maria who abandoned them 10 years prior.
When Maria unexpectedly returns everything that John told Arielle about their family comes into question. Soon Arielle finds herself desperately trying to untangle her family’s dark past, as secrets and deceptions pile up and tensions rise.
In Canada Ice Blue is available on iTunes, Google Play, Bell VOD and Shaw VOD and in the US on iTunes, Google Play, Amazon Video, DirecTV and InDemand.
During its festival run the film won three awards across North America including best feature director at LA Femme Film Festival (Los Angeles), audience favourite at Blue Whiskey Independent Film Festival (Chicago) and best Canadian feature at Regina International Film Festival.
