Writer Alyson Richards (NSI Drama Prize, NSI Features First) and director Pat Mills (NSI Drama Prize, NSI Totally Television, NSI Features First, NSI Script to Screen) have teamed up to work on new thriller The Retreat, developed through NSI Features First in 2008.

In the film a lesbian couple with a rocky relationship go to a friend’s pre-wedding retreat and end up fighting for their lives when a group of militant serial killers tries to murder them.

The Retreat is set to star Tommie-Amber Pirie (Bitten), Sarah Allen (Remedy), Rossif Sutherland (Reign) and Aaron Ashmore (Killjoys)
