Scythia Films‘ Daniel Bekerman (NSI Features First) will be part of a distribution panel discussion at the upcoming Pendance Film Festival along with Lauren Howes (Canadian Centre for Distribution) and Katarina Gligorijevic (Canada Film Day) on February 23.

Other festival panels include making and financing a short film, and how to write strong female roles.

The festival lineup includes the latest feature films by directors Werner Herzog, Ani Simon-Kennedy, James Sweeny, Mira Fornay, Barbara Vekaric, Johannes Nyholm, Shola Amoo and others. And the short film lineup includes several Canadian films along with some of the best shorts of 2019 such as the student Academy Award®-winning Bonobo by Zoel Aeschbacher.

Pendance Film Festival takes place from February 20 to 23 at TIFF Bell Lightbox and AGO’s Jackman Hall.
