TELUS STORYHIVE digital short The United Guys Network from creators Tabatha Golat and Montgomery Burt plays at the Women’s Comedy Film Festival in Atlanta later this month, marking the film’s first screening at a women’s festival and its 50th festival screening.

The film is nominated for best international comedy at the festival.

In The United Guys Network, Paul, a loving newlywed husband, dotes on his wife. This makes the other guys in the neighbourhood look bad so they kidnap him and teach him how to be a ‘real’ man through their secret headquarters at The United Guys Network.

In its second year, the Women’s Comedy Film Festival celebrates independent films featuring female filmmakers, actors, directors, writers and producers from all over the world. The fest runs March 27 and 28.
