Alumni films will stream for free on the National Film Board (NFB) website from March 1 to 31. The NFB have released films for younger audiences to celebrate spring break as well as bilingual films to mark the Rendez-vous de la Francophonie.
Starting March 1
- The Tournament – directed by Sam Vint (CBC New Indigenous Voices, NSI IndigiDocs)
- Balakrishna – written and directed by Colin MacKenzie (NSI Global Marketing), produced by Kat Baulu (NSI Drama Prize)
Starting March 8
- nîpawistamâsowin: We Will Stand Up – written, directed and produced by Tasha Hubbard (NSI IndigiDocs). This film will be available in English, French or with Plains Cree subtitles.
Starting March 18
- Snow Warrior – directed and produced by Frederick Kroetsch (NSI Business for Producers)
