Are you sitting on a hidden gem that had a festival life before the era of streaming sites and virtual film festivals? If so, the Documentary Organization of Canada (DOC) wants to help showcase your film.
DOC is looking for 10 documentaries from across Canada to stream on their new series Docs From The Vault, in collaboration with the streaming platform Tënk.
These films may have been previously presented at festivals, in cinemas, on television and to communities around the world. As long as the film has never been streamed, it is eligible to submit. Send them your fantastic docs from the 1980s, or your recent work that never found digital distribution.
Submissions must come from DOC members – the filmmaker must either currently be a DOC member or have been a DOC member at the time the film was made (living or deceased).
Films must be at least 40 minutes in length. Submissions must be made by DVD or online link.
Deadline to submit is October 22 (DVD submissions can be mailed on October 22). Submit your film.
