Industry Partner of NSI Series Incubator. Service Sponsor of CBC New Indigenous Voices.

Partners of the National Screen Institute are more than just funders – they are true champions of the Canadian creative industries. Their support allows us to provide funds, hands-on experience and services to our participants as we all work together to amplify the voices of creators in our community and across the country.

William F. White International Inc. (WFW) has been a longtime supporter of the National Screen Institute and our programs. Through our partnership, WFW provides the necessary equipment, budgeting and production consulting needed to elevate participants’ projects and advance their careers.

Today, they are one of the key supporters of the National Screen Institute’s new program, NSI Series Incubator – in-depth training for producer/writer teams from underrepresented communities to meaningfully develop a scripted series. The program culminates in the creation of a proof-of-concept film (trailer/stand-alone short film).

WFW is a leader in the film industry with over 50 years of experience. Their support provides National Screen Institute participants with vital production consulting to find efficient and creative ways to turn their ideas into reality.

“[The National Screen Institute] allows us to form partnerships with talent,” said Greg Jeffs, NSI Features First alumnus and client services coordinator with WFW. “We’ve got your back when it comes to [production]; but how can we help you take that next big swing?”

As Canada’s oldest and largest national film equipment provider, WFW’s role has been pivotal in the production process for countless directors, producers, crew members and independent filmmakers across the country.

“We want to encourage the success of all Canadian filmmakers. We know that it’s all just a matter of giving them a chance and the tools they need to take the shot,” said Greg.

Throughout our partnership with WFW, they have committed to uplifting the voices of Canadian storytellers and provide opportunities to our alumni as they take their next steps in the industry. Thank you for your continued support!
