Production is underway on season 2 of Tribal.

The project, led by Calgary-based Prairie Dog Film + Television, in association with APTN, was renewed for a second season earlier this year. The show is produced by Scott Lepp (NSI Features First) and co-written by Jason Filiatrault (NSI Script to Screen).

Tribal follows a newly appointed Tribal Police Force chief and her broken-down Metro Police detective partner as they investigate First Nation crime stories based on real cases. Season 2 plans to introduce a new task force leader and further divide the two police departments.

Cast and crew have stated they are following all necessary COVID-19 protocols. Production is expected to wrap in February 2021.
