Congratulations to Rhayne Vermette (NSI IndigiDocs) and Darcy Waite (CBC New Indigenous Voices, NSI IndigiDocs, NSI Art of Business Management – Indigenous Edition) who both received funding through the Winnipeg Film Group (WFG) Manitoba Film and Music (MFM) 2021 Spring Post/Production Fund.

Rhayne was awarded $1,800 in WFG services for her feature film Levers.

Darcy was awarded $2,000 in cash for his film Serve and Protect.

The fund recipients were chosen through a peer selection committee comprised of three filmmakers, including Janell Henry (CBC New Indigenous Voices).

WFG and MFM have funded five filmmakers through this year’s program. Learn more about the recipients.
