Matt Sadowski and Maureen Bradley get Telefilm Canada Micro-Budget Production Program funding

Telefilm-Canada-598

The Next Morning, by Matt Sadowski (NSI Drama Prize) and Two4One, by Maureen Bradley (NSI Features First) are among the eight projects chosen as the first finalists of the Telefilm Canada Micro-Budget Production Program.

The new program launched in June 2012 to support new filmmakers seeking to produce their first feature-length film.

The program places an emphasis on digital-media production and marketing methods. Candidates were recommended to Telefilm Canada through a network of 25 partners from all regions of the country. Matt Sadowski received NSI’s letter of recommendation and Maureen Bradley was nominated by the Creative Women Workshops Association.

Finalists will be featured at the Regard sur le court au Saguenay short film festival (March 13-17), where a special program will present a selection of shorts from their earlier work.
