Big congrats to Molly McGlynn (NSI Drama Prize), newly-announced winner of the $10K Stella Artois Jay Scott Prize for an emerging artist from the Toronto Film Critics Association (TFCA) Awards.

Molly’s debut feature as writer/director, Mary Goes Round, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in 2017

Additionally, Falls Around Her actor Tantoo Cardinal was presented with the Technicolor Clyde Gilmour Award which recognizes outstanding contributions to the advancement and history of Canadian cinema. Each year the winner chooses an emerging filmmaker to receive $50K in post-production services – Tantoo picked Falls Around Her writer/director Darlene Naponse (NSI Features First).
