Congratulations to writer, producer and actor Kate Fenton (NSI Business for Producers) and the entire Band Ladies crew on their ACTRA Toronto nomination for best series ensemble.

Band Ladies follows five disenchanted women fed up and on the cusp of middle age who turn their book club into a punk band 20 years too late.

Jesse LaVercombe – lead actor in Violation by Dusty Mancinelli (NSI Features First) – was also nominated for best male actor.

The 19th annual ACTRA Awards will be held online this Sunday, February 21 at 8 p.m. on ACTRA Toronto’s YouTube channel.
