OMA, developed through TELUS STORYHIVE by Griffin Cork, Karen Johnson-Diamond and Melanie Bahniuk will have a special online screening at THIRD ACTion Film Festival on December 7.
OMA tells the story of retired nurse and Griffin’s grandma, Sandy Moser, who has made over 2,300 masks for the arts community of Alberta by herself, for free. The documentary shows Sandy’s desire to give back to the Alberta arts community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The documentary will stream through the festival website on December 7 at 6:30 p.m. MST. Griffin and Sandy will be featured speakers at the event. Get your tickets now.
Developed through the TELUS STORYHIVE Local Heroes Edition in early 2021, OMA has premiered internationally at festivals including Black Bear Film Festival (US) and the international touring festival, Motion Picture International Film Festival.
