Tonya Williams talks about Access Reelworld on CTV’s The Marilyn Denis Show

Activist, actor, director, producer and founder of the Reelworld Film Festival Tonya Williams (NSI Global Marketing) was recently a guest on The Marilyn Denis Show.

Marilyn and Tonya discussed the recently launched Access Reelworld, a database of Black, Indigenous, Asian, South Asian, Middle Eastern, Latinx and all other racially diverse communities in the Canadian entertainment industry. In the first three weeks, 400 people have already signed up and a job board will be active in September.

Tonya spoke about the 20th anniversary of the Reelworld Film Festival and its pivot to a digital platform for the October event (Oct. 14 to 19).

Marilyn also asked Tonya about being one of the first Black soap opera stars in her role as Dr. Olivia Barber on The Young and the Restless
