Elijah the Prophet

Elijah-the-Prophet

Quick stats about the movie

Elijah is the pious, chummy and … alcoholic prophet whose yearly antics have graced Jewish households for ages every Passover.

Unfortunately for the childlike servant of God, not everyone understands drunk driving can be a divine right.

Filmmaker’s statement

“When I first read Elijah the Prophet, I knew nothing about Passover or about the character of Elijah, but Zach and Jesse crafted such a funny, enjoyable story that I knew I had to be a part of it.

Lucky for me, I wasn’t the only one who fell in love with the script and after it won the Canadian Short Screenplay Competition, we were able to compile an incredible cast and crew to bring the story to life – but not without the help of 134 incredible backers on Kickstarter!”
