Director’s statement
Daniel Warth says:
“Romantic comedies have become star-laden, sugarcoated affairs but that isn’t what life feels like to me.
I want to return to the roots of this genre, back to the days when romance was found in a wry smile, an artful playfulness and was always tinged bittersweet.
Bring the romance back to romance, if you will. The boy may not always get the girl, but it’ll be a lot of fun watching them get there.”
