Filmmaker’s statement

Karolina Lewicka says:

“The story was inspired by my trip to Berlin and participation at the Berlinale Talent Campus in February 2008.

Direct inspiration comes from the Berlin Wall – the artificial division created to separate people.

The story shows how people create barriers and walls that divide them every day and how they can tear them down in a heartbeat, and concentrate on what brings them together.”
