Jad is a typical kid: first generation, lives in the suburbs, babysits his siblings, gets okay grades. But being ordinary isn’t enough. Jad wants to be part of something.
When a group of neighbourhood guys offers to make Jad one of them, how can he say no? Will the cost of belonging be higher than he’s willing to pay?

Filmmaker’s statement
Jenna Elzein says:
“I was lucky enough to be given the time of day by an unstoppable crew and a brilliant cast for my first foray into short filmmaking. It also helps that I grew up around a lot of interesting folks, whose lives and personalities continue to influence my characters and my stories.”
About Jenna Elzein
Jenna is a 23-year-old graduate of York University’s film production program. She has made two short films and is currently working on producing her third.
When she’s not barreling towards her next project, she’s lounging around in Riverdale, reading comic books and eating sushi.
But she’s only 23, so nothing bio-worthy has really happened to her yet.
